Mark R. Zonfrillo, MD, MSCE is Strategic Lead for Expert Engagement and Safety Innovation at Ainsley Advisory Group. He is a pediatric emergency medicine physician, clinical epidemiologist, and experienced medicolegal consultant. His work integrates over 15 years of clinical, academic, and health data leadership, with a focus on improving pediatric outcomes through data-driven innovation.

Dr. Zonfrillo has authored more than 175 peer-reviewed publications in pediatric injury prevention, concussion, trauma systems, and emergency care quality improvement, making significant contributions to national policy and clinical practice. His federally funded research has leveraged health system data to inform clinical decision-making, and he is recognized as a thought leader in the application of real-world data to operational dashboards, electronic health record–integrated decision support tools, and outcome prediction models.

In addition to his academic work, Dr. Zonfrillo has over a decade of experience as a medicolegal consultant in pediatric emergency medicine and product-related injury cases. He is also an improvisational comedy performer and an advocate for using communication and listening skills to enhance teamwork, empathy, and adaptability in healthcare.

He received his medical degree from Brown University and holds a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology (MSCE) from the University of Pennsylvania.
